هذا هو كتابي الرابع عشر، في كتبي التي بدأت بنشرها بتوفيق من الله تعالى عام 2000، وإذا كنت قد أهديت كتبي لذوي الفضل علي، والذين حدبوا على كتاباتي الأولى، فأهديت كتابي (الضفة الثانية) إلى روح أبي غفر الله له إن شاء، الذي زرع في نفسي حب القراءة والكتابة، وإذا فتحت عيني على الدنيا وأنا أراه قارئاً في كتاب، ومطالعاً لمجلة، وناظراً في جريدة، أهديت جهدي إليه، وكنت آمل لو أطَّلع عليه قبل الرحيل، والى روح أمي "فاطمة كامل محمد الصفار"، التي على الرغم من أميّتها كنت أجدُ فيها نداً معرفياً في الحوار والنقاش والرأي، إلى روحها أهديت كتابي: (المرء يلقي عصا ترحاله)، وأهديت (التماعات ورؤى) إلى روح الراحل العزيز الأستاذ أحمد شبيب حبيب (أبي صارم) الذي رعى كتاباتي يوم كان يشرف على الصفحة الثقافية لجريدة (العراق) خلال الثمانينات الفائتة من القرن العشرين، وأهديت كتابي (إضاءات ونفثات) إلى روح الباحث الكاتب أبي بشار عبد الغني الملاح الذي حَدِبَ على كتاباتي الأولى في ثقافية جريدة (التآخي) أوائل سنوات السبعين من القرن العشرين، والى روح أستاذي الدكتور صلاح خالص، صديقاً وأستاذاً وحادباً على كتاباتي الأولى في مجلته (الثقافية)، أوائل عقد السبعين أهديت كتابي (في مِشْغَلْ النقد) فضلاً على اللذّين ساعداني في اختيار موضوعي لنيل شهادة الماجستير، أستاذي في معهد التاريخ العربي والتراث العلمي للدراسات العليا ببغداد، الدكتور حازم آل عشيش، الذي أختار لي الكتابة في القراءات القرآنية، وتحديداً قراءة أبي بكر بن عياش الأسدي، قارئ الكوفة وراوية أخبار العرب، الذي لم يُدْرَسْ سابقاً، وبمؤازرة صديقي الحاصل على شهادتي دكتوراه، عباس كاظم مراد، الذي اغتاله الإرهاب الكافر أمام دارته.
