تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على حقوق الإنسان في الوطن العربي، ورصد دور الأنظمة العربية في المحافظة عليها وتطبيقها، وذلك من خلال روايات عبد الرحمن منيف.
إنها تتبع معاناة الإنسان العربي، في ظل انتهاك حقوقه، وتشير إلى أساليب القهر التي تمارس في حقه، وتقدم دلائل علمية تظهر أساليب الالتفاف عليها للاستفادة منها بغية تطويعها للمصالح الشخصية، أو لتغطية مشاريع كبرى وفق قوانين محلية.
