قررت أن يكون العنوان النهائي لثرثرتي: الله ليس مرغماً على إقامة العدل في كافة أفعاله على هذه الأرض وهأنذا أبدأ حكاية سلطاتي حالاً.
بادئ ذي بدء... وأولاً... اسمي إبراهيما. أنا زنجي صغير. ليس لأنني أتكلم لغة فرنسية مكسرة. وهكذا هي الحال. حتى لو كان المرء كبيراً، بل مسناً، وحتى لو كان عربياً أو صينياً أو أبيض أو روسياً أو حتى أميركياً؛ إذا تكلم لغة فرنسية مكسّرة قيل إنه يتكلم كزنجي صغير، ومع ذلك فهو زنجي صغير. إن قانون اللغة الفرنسية المطبّق كل يوم هو الذي يريد ذلك. وثانياً... لم أذهب بعيداً في دراستي؛ بل قسمتُ دراستي الابتدائية إلى قسمين. غادرت المدرسة لأن الناس جميعاً قالوا: لم تعد المدرسة تساوي شيئاً.. لأنه لا أمل لأي إنسان، حتى لو حمل إجازة جماعية، في أن يكون ممرضاً أو معلماً في مدرسة ابتدائية في إحدى جمهوريات في أفريقيا الناطقة باللغة الفرنسية، ولكن المواظبة حتى الصف الثاني الابتدائي ليست أمراً سيئاً بالضرورة. يُعرف المرء أشياء قليلة ولكنها ليست كافية. إنه يشبه ما يسمّيه الزنوج السود الأفارقة الأصليون الفطيرة المقمرّة على الوجهين. لا يعود المرء قروياً ومتوحشاً كبقية الزنوج الأفارقة الأصليين.
بعد روايته "بانتظار أن تُدلي الوحوش بأصواتها" التي يهجو فيها ديكتاتور أفريقيا، يقدّم لنا أحموو كوروما سيرة سند بادية ساخرة - رغم الرعب الذي ترويه - عن حقبة المجازر التي كان أبطالها التعساء من الأطفال.
وُلد أحموو كوروما في العام 1927 في ساحل العاج، وقد عُرف منذ صدورها أول رواياته "شموس الاستقلالات" كأحد أهم كتّاب القارة الأفريقية. ومن رواية إلى أخرى، يتابع كوروما، بحس دعابة وصفاء، الكشف عن جوانب التاريخ المعاصر الخفية. حصل على جائزة "غونكور" الشهيرة، ونال جائزة "رينودو" في العام 2000 عن هذه الرواية.
