عندما فكرت في الكتابة عن التعليق الرياضي، بحثت في المكتبات ودور النشر وعند الاخوة زملاء المهنة المحترمين عن كتاب او مرجع متكامل يجسد فن التعليق الرياضي باعتباره فن من فنون الابداع في العمل الاذاعي والتلفويوني فلم اجد إلا القليل من الكتيبات الصغيرة التي تناولت فن التعليق الرياضي باقتضاب رغم اهميته البالغه باعتباره عنصر التسويق الاول في متابعة الحدث او الصورة وهو في نفس الوقت اتصال لتحقيق عناصر رساله الاتصال الجماهيري بمفهومها الواسع ، و كانت لتوجيهات صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة الأثر الكبير و البالغ في تحفيزي للكتابة عن هذا الموضوع المتخصص و ذلك عندما تشرفت بلقاء سموه في مجلس القسم عند افتتاح دور الانعقاد العادي الرابع من الفصل التشريعي التاسع للمجلس الاستشاري بالشارقة في اكتوبر من عام 2017 ، عندما قدم سموه لي الكثير من الملاحظات القيمه و النقاط المضيئه التي تتحدث عن هموم و شجون التعليق الرياضي و ما ينبغي ان يكون عليه المعلق الرياضي من مهاره و حس و حدس في نقله للاحداث ، فضلا عن ملاحضات سموه الدقيقه في توضيح الفرق الشاسع بين التعليق الايذاعي و التلفزيوني و التاكيد على ضرورة ان يراعي معلق التلفزيون وجود الصوره التي تغني عن الوثف التفصليلي المتبع في التعليق الاذاعي ، وقد كانت تلك النصائح تعليقا على مشاهدات سموه لمباريات الدوري الاماراتي و السعودي لكره القدم.
