كتاب تكوين المعلمين المستمر وجدواه ترجمة أمنية، دقيقة، بأسلوب عربي مبين، لكتاب بالفرنسية عنونه la formation continue des enseignants est-elle utile، تأليف فريق من الباحثين يضمّ عالم اجتماع وثلاثة من مكوني المدرسين. يرى المؤلفون أن التكوين المستمر للمدرسين العاملين في المستوى الثاني من التعليم في فرنسة، لم يقوم إلا قليلاً أو لا إتقان في تقويمه. وطلب تقويمه، الصادر من جهات شتى، قويّ جداً في أيامنا هذه. وليس ثمة من ينازع في أهمية التكوين المستمر. ولكن تكاليفه كبيرة جداً بالإضافة إلى غياب المدرسين عن صفوفهم. فهل الانعكاسات على نوعية التعليم تقابل الجهد المبذول؟ أيؤدي التكوين المستمر إلى تغيّرات إيجابية في الممارسة المهنية؟ هل المحتويات وطرائق التدريبات، أو أعمال التكوين المستمر الأخرى، متكيّفة مع أغراضها؟ وبعبارة أخرى، هلى التكوين المستمر ذو جدوى؟
