أما الفصل الرابع فقد تناول الدراسات السابقة التي اهتمت بقدرة التقويم والتفكير الناقد وكليهما معاً، بينما ركز الفصل الخامس على دراسة عن تنمية التفكير الناقد وأثر ذلك على التفكير العقلاني لدى طالبات الجامعة.
وبعد فإن هذا الكتاب يفيد التربويين وطلاب البحث والمتخصصين في مجال القدرات العقلية وهي ثمرة جهد من كل من رسالة الدكتوراه الخاصة بمعدة الكتاب وبحث قامت به بالإشتراك مع زميلة أخرى.
