"يداي تقفان في لهوهما / تتهاويان من أجل ضجّة قليلة في الفراغ / كقطرتيْ ماء تهْويان في الغرابة/ تتقطّع الحركة كخيط بينهما / تلامسان العينين المغمضتين / وتحملان طعم إغماضهما بين الأصابع".
وأيضا من "اليوم السادس":
"أيّتها المنحوتة / هذا يومك السّادس / يخفّ طينك ويطنّ تحت أصابعي / تذهبين ناحية اليبس / تذهبين ناحية الصّمت / تصمت أجزاؤك / تذهبين ناحية القرار / تصيرين صعبة اللمس".
