إن فهم اللغة ومعاناة لا تقل عن أية معاناة، لأننا باللغة نتحدث عن الأشياء وباللغة نتحدث عن اللغة، وباللغة نتحدث بعد هذا وذاك عن علاقة الفكر إذ يفكر باللغة".
من هنا تأتي هذه الدراسات كاستجابة لهذا الهم اللغوي، تسعى لجلائه نظرياً وتطبيقاً، وتعميقه عقلانياً، بغية الوصول إلى فكر جدلي قادر على معانية الثقافة العربية وتمثلها، وفقهم مكوناتها، وإدراك التشابك المذهل بين بنياتها، وما ترمز إليه في تجليها عبر مظاهر الوجود كافة.
