هذا كتاب جمع فيه مؤلفه السيد مرتضى الحسيني الفيروز آبادي ما كتب في الصحاح الستة وغيرها من الكتب المعتبرة عند أهل السنة والجماعة، وقدمها إلى القارئ رجاء أن ينتفع بها المسلمون عامة، فإن كان الناظر فيها من أهل الخلاف اهتدى بها أن كان من أهل الهدى والإيمان، زادته هذه الأحاديث إيماناً.
وقد جاء الكتاب في خمسة مقاصد وخاتمة، المقصد الأولن في فضائل البنى صلى الله عليه وسلم، وفيه عدة أبواب غالبيتها مأخوذة من الصحاح الستة المعتمدة عند أهل السنة. المقصد الثاني: في فضائل علي بن أبي طالب وفيه عدة أبواب. المقصد الثالث: في فضائل فاطمة وفيه ثلاثة أحاديث. المقصد الرابع: في الفضائل المشتركة بين الحسن والحسين وفيه أبواب عديدة. المقصد الخامس: في الفضائل المختصة بالحسن، والفضائل المختصة بالحسين وفيه عدة أبواب.
كتاب هام، استوفى فيه الكاتب جميع ما جاء في أهل البيت.
