لا تلمني يا عزيزي قتل الحب فؤادي .. فتراني كل يومٍ أحتسي المر بزادي ، ملأ اليأس حياتي ليس فيه من نفاد .. أذكر الخلّ فقدمي مهجتي إثر السهاد ، عندما أمشي حثيثاً تعثر الرجل خطاها .. أسأل الربع لماذا زاد بالعين قذاها ، لن ألوم النفس فيه كنت يوماً أتباها .. وإذا اليوم جحيم يحرق الجسم لظاها أنظر الأشياء حولي كلها نسج الخيال ... صارت الدنيا فيافي حولت حلمي لآل أقطع البيدا وحيداً مشمساً دون ظلال ... هل أنا أبقى وهذي الآه تُبْدِ بنوال ، خيّم الحزن على القلب فأوحى القلب جرح ... إنني أمسي حزيناً وكما أمسيت أصحو ، لا ترى عيني جمالاً كل ما حولي قُبْحُ ... كلما شمت سروراً زادني بالجرح صبح ، كدّر الدهر معاشي بعد عيشي بالهناء ... هذه الأيام تبدي بؤسها دون خفاء ، دسّت السم بكأسي ثم زادتني عناء ... فحتى الأيام تكسو شاطئي الداجي ضياء ، دكت الآهات جسمي وبدا فيه النحول ... واكتسى لوني شحوباً واعترى فكري الذهول ، آنس الذكرى حبيباً نيّراً كل الفصول ... فحض للموت سهماً لا تلمني يا عزول .

في ظلال الروض لحنا بلبل الروح يغني ... شنف الآذان شدو لحنه أروع لحن ، حرّك السجع شجوني حيث عقلي طار مني ... أأنا بالحب مغمور بما يرجو التمني ، ردد البلبل لحناً تُهْتُ جذلاً بصداه ... علّه يشفي غليلي علّني أنسى المتاه ، عثرت رجلي ودربي ليس حدّ لمداه ... وحياتي دون حب لا تسمى بحياة ، سمعت أذناي لحناً بين أنّات الشجر ... رددت للحب معنىً تلك أمواج النهر ، حرّك الحب شجوني تبله أغشى البصر ... فإذا يمّمت شطراً داهم النفس الخطر ، أيقظ الأحلام طيفاً عمر الحلم حياتي ... ليتني أنسى همومي والأسى بالذكريات ، لتعش نفسي طروباً وهي تنسى الحشرات ... ثم أمالي تزهو تبتني بالأمنيات . " بوح نفسي .. ووشوشات .. وهمسات يرفدها الشاعر بأحاسيس وعواطف تنتظم قصائد .. موشاة بالمعاني التي تنساب على وقع موسيقى .. لطيفة .. تستعذ بها النفس ... .
