يعتبر تفسير الإمام البيضاوي المسمى "أنوار التنزيل وأسرار التأويل" من أشهر كتب التفسير وأجمعها أقوالاً مع تلخيص وإيجاز، وأسلها تناولاً ووضوح عبارة. وقد قيل الكثير عن هذا التفسير العظيم لما له من شأن فقد لخّص فيه الإمام البيضاوي من الكشاف ما يتعلق بالإعراب والمعاني والبيان، ومن التفسير الكبير ما يتعلق بالحكمة والكلام، ومن تفسير الراغب ما يتعلق بالاشتقاق وغوامض الحقائق ولطائف الإشارات، ولأهمية هذا الكتاب فقد عكف عليه علماء السلف ومصنفوه بالدرس والتحشية؛ فمنهم من علق تعليقه على صورة منه، ومنهم من حشى تحشية تامة، ومنهم من كتب على بعض مواضع منه. وكان القونوي، وابن التمجيد من علماء السلف الذين اجتهدوا بإغنائه بالحواشي.
ولأهمية هذا الكتاب وأهمية حواشي القونوي وابن التمجيد تأتي هذه الطبعة الجديدة خالية من الأخطاء مع الاهتمام بناحية بالإخراج الفني والعلم للكتاب. وقد تمّ وضع نصّ القرآن الكريم كاملاً في القسم الأعلى من الصفحات ومن تحت مباشرة تفسير البيضاوي لها وحاشية القونوي على التفسير ثم حاشية ابن التمجيد. مع الاعتناء بوضع حاشية توضيحية في أسفل الصفحات. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك فقد اجتهد المحقق بإيراد تراجم مختصرة لكل من البيضاوي والقونوي وابن التمجيد...
