هو الكتاب الثامن عشر في سلسة دراسات في الاقتصاد الإسلامي التي يصدرها المعهد العالمي للفكر الإسلامي. وتمثل هذه السلسلة نتاج مشروع دراسة صيغ المعاملات المصرفية، و الاستثمارية، والمالية المستخدمة في المؤسسات الأخرى، وخاصة في البنوك، وشركات الاستثمار. ويغطى الكتاب مع غيره من كتب هذه السلسلة عدداً من الموضوعات المتصلة بالصيغ التي تنظم علاقات هذه المؤسسات، سواء كانت مع غيرها من الأفراد، والمؤسسات الأخرى، أو في جانب استخدامها للأموال المتاحة لها، أو في جانب الخدمات الأخرى غير التمويلية التي تقوم بها. ويؤسس هذا البحث على غرضية أن موضوع الربا جاء في القرآن الكريم محاطاً بسلسلة من الأطر التي تتضمن تربية عقيدية واجتماعية واقتصادية، وقد أثبت البحث صحة هذه الفرضية في كل المواضع التي ذكر فيها الربا في القرآن الكريم. واعتبر إثبات هذه الفريضة إثبات للإعجاز القرآني في موضع اقتصادي وهو إعجاز من نوع جديد، وقد صيغ هذا الوجه من وجوه الإعجاز في منظومة معرفية، وقد وظفت التطورات الحديثة للمعرفة في صياغة هذه المنظومة المعرفية القرآنية.
