بذل المسلمون على مر العصور جهوداً كثيرة متوالية في خدمة هذا الكتاب العزيز، ومن بين هذه الجهود ما يتعلق بتبيين معاني الآيات وتفسيرها، وكان لكل تفسير ميزته وخصائصه.
وميزة هذا التفسير "التفسير المنهجي" أنه أعد ليكون منهاجاً للتدريس في المدارس التي تلتزم في منهاجها تدريس الطلبة تفسير القرآن الكريم كاملاً، والتزم مؤلفوه السير على نمط متقارب متدرج، وفيما يلي أهم النقاط التي تم الالتزام بها:
-اختيار العبارة السهلة الواضحة بما يتناسب مع أعمار الطلبة ومستوياتهم.
-بدء كل درس بتبيين معاني المفردات والتراكيب التي يحتاج الطلبة إلى معرفتها.
-التعريف بالسورة بإيجاز قبل الشروع في تفسيرها.
-تفسير الآيات بصورة معتدلة وبعبارة قريبة مباشرة.
-الربط بين آيات الدرس السابق والتالي.
-اختيار القول الراجح في معنى الآية، وعدم إشغال الطلبة بالأقوال المتعددة أو الضعيفة.
-الالتزام بمنهج السلف في تفسير آيات الصفات.
-إغناء كل درس بعدد من الأنشطة المناسبة ذات الصلة بالآيات لحفز الطالب على البحث والتفكير وترسيخ المعلومة في ذهنه، ولذا فالمأمول من السادة المدرسين، ومن الطلبة، الاعتناء بهذه الأنشطة وعدم إهمالها، ومناقشة ما يتم التوصل إليه في الفصل أو طابور الصباح أو تعليقه في مجلة المدرسة.
-إتباع كل درس بعدد من العبر والدروس المستنبطة من الآيات الكريمة، والمأمول من المدرس والطالب قراءة هذه العبر والربط بينها وبين الآية التي استنبط منها، والحرص على الإفادة منها في تقويم السلوك وتنمية وترسيخ القيم الإسلامية التي تضمنتها.
-ختم كل درس بعدد من الأسئلة المتنوعة التي تهدف إلى تقويم الطالب وتبيين مقدار استيعابه للدرس وحفزه على البحث عن الإجابة للأسئلة في مظانها.
-تذييل بعض الدروس بفائدة أو رواية أو حادثة أو حديث له صلة بموضوع الدرس بهدف إمتاع القارئ وإفادته بهذه المعلومة.
-تخريج الأحاديث النبوية وروايات أسباب النزول، والحرص على الاقتصار على الصحيح من روايات الأحاديث.
