لاشك أن اتفاق إعلان المبادئ الفلسطيني – الإسرائيلي الموقع في واشنطن 13 أيلول 1933، قد تناوله العديدون بالدرس والتحليل، إلا أن الاتفاق الاقتصادي الفلسطيني – الإسرائيلي الموقع في باريس 29 نيسان 1994، لم يتناوله الدارسون كسابقه، رغم أنه يعد الثمرة العملية والترجمة الاقتصادية لاتفاق إعلان المبادئ. وحيث إن الاتفاق الاقتصادي – الفلسطيني قد جاء مشكلاً في مضامينه وأبعاده، فإنه الكتاب خصص لقراءة مواد الاتفاق قراءة تحليلية اقتصادية بحت، يدرس محدداته التي ترمي إلى استمرار تبعية الاقتصاد الفلسطيني للاقتصاد الإسرائيلي، وتوظيفه لمصلحة الثاني ليكون مدخله لاختراق الاقتصاد العربي، ويستشرف هوامشه التي تسمح بانفتاح الاقتصاد الفلسطيني على الاقتصاد العربي عامة والأردني خاصة.
