هذا الكتاب "بلوغ المنى والظفر في بيان لا عدوى ولا طيرة ولا هامة ولا صغر" من مؤلفات العلامة ابن فهد المكي، وموضوعه كما هو ظاهر من اسمه شرح للحديث وما فيه من معان، وقد جمع فيه المؤلف أقوال العلماء في بيان معنى هذا الحديث، والجمع بينه وبين الأحاديث الأخرى التي تعارضه وتثبيت العدوى ولا تنفيها.
وقد أبدع المؤلف في ذلك حيث قام بشرح الألفاظ الستة الواردة في روايات هذا الحديث في مختلف كتب السنة وهي: العدوى، والطيرة، والهامة، والصفر، والنوء، والغول "مع الجمع بينها وبين الأحاديث الأخرى التي تعارض هذا الحديث في ظاهرها مثل حديث "الشؤم في ثلاث"، وحديث "فر من المجذوم فرارك من الأسود"، وحديث "لا يورد ممرض على مصح"، وقوله صلى الله عليه وسلم للمجذوم "أنا قد بايعناك فارجع" وغيرها. وتظهر أهمية هذا الكتاب أن المؤلف حاول في كتابه أن يستقصي كلام جميع العلماء الذين سبقوه على هذا الحديث رواية رواية مع التنسيق والتنظيم والتوضيح والترجيح. ولأهمية هذه اعتنى "عبد الله الغفيلي" بتحقيق مادته وإخراجه للقراء في حلة جديدة غير مشوبة بأي شائبة، وهو في سبيل ذلك اعتنى ب: أولاً: ضبط النص وصححه وكتبه حسب ا قواعد الرسم الإملائي الحديث.اعتنى بعزو الآيات القرآنية الكريمة التي مواضعها بذكر اسم السورة ورقم الآية، ثالثاً: خرج الأحاديث النبوية الشريفة الواردة من كتب الحديث المختلفة ونقل كلام العلماء على الأحاديث التي ليست في الصحيحين صحة وضعفاً غالباً. رابعاً: وثق النصوص التي نقلها المؤلف من كتب أصحابها، خامساً: علّق على المواضيع والمسائل التي تحتاج إلى تعليق وخاصة مسائل الاعتقاد وربطها بكلام المتقدمين من السلف، سادساً: عرف بالأعلام الذين يحتاجون إلى تعريف، سابعاً: قدم لنص الكتاب بمقدمة ضمنها تعريفاً بالمؤلف وأثاره ونشأته وعقيدته ومذهبه، وشيوخه. كما وضمنها دراسة من الكتاب. ثامناً: ذبل لجنة بفهارس علمية مختلفة، منها الآيات وأخرى للأحاديث والآثار، والأعلام الخ..
