في "لغز القرية المسجونة" يروي طارق البكري حكاية تلك القرية الصغيرة وأهلها الذين ينسجون حول سورها خيالاتٍ وقصصاً قريبة من الأحلام. كان سكان القرية يتوارثون قصصاً، ويخترعون أخرى. فهم منذ مئات السنين يعيشون بعيداً عن أهل القرى وسائر البلاد، لا يخرجون من قريتهم ولا يزورهم من خارجها أحدٌ، وليس عندهم أجمل من هذا الأثر ليكون رفيقاً لهم على مدى اليام والسنين. لقد أقام سكان القرية جداراً يحميهم من الأخطار الخارجية، حتى أنهم عندما أقاموا هذا الجُدُرَ لم يجعلوا لها أبواباً .. فبدت القرية وكأنها سجن كبير
ولكن "يتيماً" الشاب القوي أراد ومجموعة من الشباب أن يفتحوا الأبواب أمام قريتهم ويكسروا أسوارها العالية فلا تبقى معزولة عن العالم... "وكان "يتيم" وجاره الصديق .. وعدد كبير من شباب القرية يجدّون في الليل والنهار من أجل تحقيق حلمهم بالحرية والقضاء على كل الوحوش الشريرة التي تحيط بهم، لتكون قصتهم قصةً جديدةً تنضمّ إلى القصص الكثيرة التي رواها الأجداد .. قصة التحرر من السجن الكبير .. من القرية المسجونة، مهما كانت الصعاب والتحديات ... وبذلك يتحقّق حلمهم بالحرية ...".
وهكذا يصطنع الكاتب لرسائله خطاباً روائياً سلساً ممتعاً يتناسب مع الفئة العمرية المستهدفة، فيستخدم راوياً واحداً، كليّ العلم، يروي بصيغة المخاطب أو المتكلم، ويشترك في صناعة الأحداث وتوجيه الشخوص، بحيث يسهل على المتلقي الفتى متابعة الحكاية، لذلك فهو يستخدم لغة سردية سهلة، على مستوى المفردات والتراكيب؛ والجمل ذات البعد الجمالي والفني، فأضاف إلى المكتبة العربية تحفة أدبية تستحق اهتمام الناقد والمربي والقارىء على السواء.
