وبهدف إخضاع الحاسوب للغة العربية يقدم أ.د. محمد كاظم البكاء / أستاذ النحو والصرف والعروض والخبير اللغوي في البرمجيات تجربته العلمية تحت عنوان (الحاسوب في تعليم علم العروض) وهي دراسة مقترنة ببرنامج تطبيقي باتخدام الحاسوب لتعليم الكتابة العروضة، ولمعرفة بحور الأبيات وما يطرأ عليها من تغيير، علماً أن هذا البرنامج صالح للتطبيق على كل بيت موزون من أي بحر من بحور الشعر؛ لأن الكاتب /المبرمج اعتمد في تصميم البرنامج على النظام الخبير، وليس على التخزين لعدد من الأبيات واسترجاعها، وهو ما تفرد به عن غيره. وأرفق الكتاب بقرص مدمج CD وتعليمات حول آلية نصب البرنامج في الحاسوب.
وبالإستناد إلى ما تقدم تم تقسيم الكتاب إلى مقدمة تشرح عملية الكتابة العروضية يتبع ذلك توزيع العمل إلى (دوائر البحور التنظيمية) مع تطبيقاتها وتضم ستة دوائر هي: 1- دائرة البحور التي تشترك بتفعيلة فعولن (الطويل المتقارب) ، 2- دائرة البحور التي تشترك بتفعيلة مفاعيلن (بحر الهزج والبحر المضارع) ، 3- دائرة البحور التي تشترك بتفعيلة فاعلاتن / فعلاتن (بحر الرمل والمديد والخفيف والمجتث) ، 4- دائرة البحور التي تشترك بتفعيلة مستفعلن (بحر الرجز والسريع والبسيط والمنسرح والمقتضب) ، 5- دائرة البحور التي تشترك بتفعيلة متفاعلن مفاعلتن (البحر الكامل والبحر الوافر) و 6- دائرة البحر المتدارك (المحدث).
