Book Description
يعد من أكبر وأضخم الموسوعات الحديثية، إذ خرجت الأحاديث فيه من أكثر من سبع مئة وخمسين مصدراً من مصادر الحديث. أغلبها كتب لم تطبع إلا الآن.
وهي في أصلها للإمام السيوطي -رحمه الله- إذ ألفها في ثلاث مراحل: الجامع الكبير، الجامع الصغير، ذيل الجامع الصغير، وفي كل كتاب منها أحاديث لا توجد في الآخر، وقد رتبها مؤلفها على حروف الهجاء، إلا القسم الثاني من "الجامع الكبير". قسم الأفعال فرتبه على المسانيد.
عمل المتقي الهندي رحمه الله بعده على التأليف بينها على مراحل أيضاً، لتكون على الأبواب الفقهية. ثم ضم بينها في كتاب واحد هو الذي بين يدينا، فصار العمل مبوباً واضحاًَ على الموضوعات الكبرى مرتبة هجائياً ثم في كل موضوع منها العناوين الجزئية، مرتبة مرتين على الأقوال والأفعال.
فعلمت جاهداً على خدمة هذا العمل الضخم في أمور عدة:
1-نظمت العمل في تبويب المتقي الهندي، فإنه كان يورد تفريعاً في الباب، ثم يتفرع مرة أخرى في كل تفريع، ثم تفريعاً آخر في تقريع التفريع وهكذا، حتى يجد القارئ نفسه تائهاً في الباب، لا يدري أوله، ولا منتهاه، فنظمت ذلك التبويب عن طريق الأرقام المتفرعة، وجعلتها في ترويسة الصفحة مع الكتاب الكلي له، ليظهر للقارئ في أي تفريع هو، واضطررت في هذا أن أضع بعض التفصيل لتمييز تفريعات الموضوع.
2-ذكرت في بداية العمل قائمة تامة بالكتب والأجزاء الحديثية التي ورد ذكرها في "الكنز مرتبة على اسم المصنف المشتهر به، مع ذكر مثال واحد أو أكثر على مكان وروده.
3-صححت الكتاب، وخاصة أسماء الرجال وأسماء الكتب، إذ وقع في المطبوعة آلاف الأخطاء والتحريفات والنقص أحياناً، فكنت أتمم النقص برجوعي إلى بعض المصادر التي نسب الحديث إليها.
4-وضعت فهرساً مفصلاً بتفريعاته كما أورده المصنف في كتابه.
5-وضعت فهرساً هجائياً لجميع الأبواب والتفريعات المذكورة في الكتاب.
6-وضعت فهرساً لأطراف الحديث مرتبة هجائياً معزوة إلى رقم الحديث.
