وضع (محمود جنداري) في عددٍ من قصص مجموعته الأولى خطوطاً تشير إلى (تميّز) واضح، وصَمَّمَ بذكاءٍ ملامحَ (بَصْمَتِهِ) في المجموعة الثانية، وثابر... ثابر جادّاً متحدّياً نفسه، وسلطةَ واقعِهِ: لينتهيَ إلى (التفرّد): رؤيةً وبناءً، في آخر أعماله، فهو لا ينسخ غيره قاصّاً، وروائيّاً... ولا يكرِّر نفسه، وإن ظلَّ له أسلوبُهُ الخاصُّ به!...
وكان يؤسِّسُ لبناء مشروع قصَصِيِّ غاية في التفرّد، وتخطّي المألوفِ السَّرديّ عن (دِرايةِ) و(تصميم)، وهو يبحثَ عن قصَةٍ قصيرةٍ لا يستعبدُ مبدعَها إطارٌ سرديٌّ نمطيٌّ جاهزّ ومُستَنفَد، ليُحقِّق حضورُه مبدعاً حقيقيّاً بالإضافة التي تَكسِرُ النمَطَ السائدَ بغير الخروجِ على (النِّظام) الذي هو سمة الفن الجوهرية، ولكنَّه رحلَ... فضاعتْ على السَّردِ العربيِّ فرصةٌ، وخَسِر الأدبُ العربيُّ الحديثُ مُبدِعاً أصيلاً!...
لقد كان (يرى)، وكان همُّهُ - كلُّ همِّهِ - أن يُريَ أبناءَ وطنِهِ ما يراهُ هو؛ لكي لا يَسقطوا في العتْمَةِ التي لا ضوءَ بعدها! وما كان ذلكَ الإنشغالُ بهموم الإنسان، وتلك الرؤيةُ لِتَتحقَّقَ لو لم تَنصهرْ بعناصر البناءِ السَّرديِّ على وفق شروطِ الإبداعِ الأصيل؛ موهبةُ كبيرةُ، وثقافةُ جادّةً، ووعياً إنسانيّاً عميقاً، وإحساساً مرهفاً، ومحبّةً للإنسان، وإحتراماً للحياة...
ولذا بقيَ إبداعُهُ شاهداً على زمنِهِ، وهو يُلِحُّ علينا بأن نرى فيه زمنّنا... وليس عجيباً أن نراه!!... ولَئِن مضى (محمود جنداري) رحمه الله - محموداً، لقد بقيَ (إبداعُهُ) شهادةَ (حياتِهِ) بعد الموت! وإنّي لأرجو أن يجدَ القارئُ الجادُّ في (الأعمال الكاملة) لهذا المبدع الجميل ما يمُتِعُهُ، ويُعمِّقُ رؤاه، ويَستَفِزُّهُ لمراجعة ذاتِه، وقراءةِ واقعِهِ بعين الفنِّ، وبَصيرةِ الفنّان النافذة!...
