ويسلّط هذا الكتاب الضوء على الاعتقالات وأساليب القمع التي مورست بحق مناوئي نظام الشاه، ويستعرض الدور الحاسم الذي أداه رجال "السافاك" في قمع التظاهرات الطالبية المطالبة بالمشاركة السياسية، ويكشف النقاب عن كثير من الرسائل المتبادلة بين "مشاغبي" الانقلاب، كما عن وثائق خطيرة لجهاز "السافاك" أمرت بتصفية كثير من قادة "الثورة".
