يناقش الجزء الأول من الكتاب لغة البرمجة بيسيك وذلك كمدخل للغات البرمجة ويحتوي على ثلاثة فصول اولها تعريف بلغة البيسك واهميتها ومجالات استخدامها. ويعرض الفصل الثاني اوامر كتابة الملاحظات بينما يتطرق الفصل الثالث الى كيفية كتابة التفرع المشروط .اما الجزء الثاني فيناقش لغة سي . ويحتوي الجزء الثاني على ثمانية فصول ، حيث يناقش الفصل الرابع اساسيات لغة سي والفصل الخامس يبحث في التراكيب الشرطية وتتنوع اشكالها واستخداماتها والفصل السادس يبحث في التكرارات المشروطة والتكرارات غير المشروطة وكيفية استخدامها . اما الفصل السابع فيناقش كيفية استخدام الاجراءات في البرنامج وطريقة كتابتها ، الفصل الثامن يناقش المصفوفات وكيفية تعريف واستخدام المصفوفات . الفصل التاسع يبحث في المؤشرات واهميتة استخدام المؤشرات في البرنامج وطرق تفاعلها مع المصفوفات والاجرءات . الفصل العاشر يبحث في استخدام وكتابة التراكيب واهميتها في كتابة البرامج التي تحتوي على متغيرات مترابطة ومختلفة في النوع ، الفصل الحادي عشر يناقش موضوع الملفات وطرق تخزين البيانات استرجاعها
