من هذا المنطلق سعى الدكتور إبراهيم حقي إلى تأليف هذا الكتاب الذي يحاول من خلاله التعريف بالدين الحنيف من خلال مصدريه: القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية مستنبطاً منهما مباحث عدّة الهدف منها إبراز ميزات الدين الإسلامي في بناء الفرد والأسرة والمجتع: إنسان كامل وأسرة محترمة متماسكة ومجتمع قوي مثالي.
