العقائد الحقة، هي الأركان الأساسية التي يعتقدها الشيعة الإمامية والتي على ضوء تصديقهما والإقرار بمؤداها والشهادة بها تتحقق الدعائم الرئيسية للمعارف الإلهية والعقائد الربانية في مبحث أصول الدين. وهذه الأصول هي: أصل التوحيد، وأصل الرسالة، وأصل الإمامة. وفي هذا الكتاب يعرض المؤلف لأصل التوحيد والبحث في ذلك يقع في جهات ثلاث: إثبات وجوده تعالى، توحيده عز اسمه، صفاته الكريمة جل شأنه.
وكما يقول المؤلف فإنه يبحث ذلك استمداداً من نور الكتاب والسنة والعقل، واهتداء إلى معرفته القلبية التي هي أسمى المعارف الحقيقية. ويعرض المؤلف لحقيقة النبوة وأصلها ويبين أدلة النبوة بالكتاب والسنة والعقل. قبل أن ينتقل إلى مبحث أصل الإمامة، وهي منصب إلهي ورئاسة عامة في أمور الدين والدنيا يختارها الله تعالى لفرد كامل من البشر ويأمر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بأن يرشد الأمة إليه. ويقوم مقام النبي في إرشاد الناس وحجة الله على خلقه. والكتاب يحوي عدداً من الفهارس العامة لآيات القرآن والأحاديث والإعلام.
