Book Description
الدراسة في هذا الكتاب هي تحليل لمضمون الفكر القومي العربي من الفترة التي سبقت الحرب العالمية الأولى حتى الوقت الراهن وهي جزء من بحث متفاعل عن اتجاهات الرأي العام العربي نحو مسألة الوحدة. وقد أنطلق هذا التي من إطار نظري شامل للمشكلة تكاملت من خلال السرد التاريخي التتبعي، كما يفعل المنهج التاريخي التقليدي عادة، ولكن من خلال الربط الوثيق بين ظهور وصعود الطبقات الاجتماعية في المجتمع العربي وصور التعبير الإيديولوجي عن أفكارها وطموحاتها الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.
وطبق البحث منهج البحث الميداني في استطلاع آراء وقياس اتجاهات الرأي العام العربي. ويطبق البحث ثالثاً (في كتابنا هذا) منهج تحليل المضمون لدراسة متعمقة للفكر القومي العربي في جزيئاته للكشف عن بنيته الحقيقية وتطور هذه النية عبر الزمن. ويطبق هذا المنهج في دراسة الفكر القومي العربي بهذه الصورة لأول مرة، وفي هذه الدراسة لتحليل مضمون الفكر القومي العربي تم تحديد أربع مراحل أساسية يتم تحليل الإنتاج الفكري الذي ظهر في خلالها، وهي: مرحلة ما قبل الحرب العالمية الأولى، مرحلة ما بين الحربين، المرحلة من عام 1945 حتى 1967، وما بعد نكسة 1967.
ويمكن القول بأن منهجية هذه الدراسة بالجمع بين المنهج التاريخي وتحليل المضمون أدى إلى نتائج مثمرة. ذلك أن الدراسة التاريخية التي قام بها فريق البحث التاريخي، أعطت الباحثين في فريق تحليل المضمون، الخلفية الأساسية لنشوء الفكر القومي العربي، بالإضافة إلى إمدادهم بخريطة شاملة لمختلف التيارات الفكرية التي تصارعت ومازالت على الساحة العربية حتى الآن.
