-الثاني: شهادة وشهود... "لكنيستنا العظمة ولأرضنا السجود"... للقول إنّ العبرة تكمن في الماضي الذي بدونه لكن يكون لنا تاريخ في المستقبل، هكذا جاء في سينودوس لبنان، وآخر للشرق.
-الثالث: كأنّ التاريخ يُعيد نفسه والظروف كأنّها الآن... قراءة للذاكرة الجماعية، من خلال بطاركة وأبطال، لعيشها من جديد بإنفتاح ومعرفة.
-الرابع: سيرة رجال عظام وألمعيّين، كتاباً ومفكّرين، نسير يهديها إيماناً منّا بأنّ معرفة الذات تكمن بالإستمرار في السير بعيداً عن التقوقع والانانيّة... بل التضحية والعطاء...
في المحصّلة، هذا الكتاب هو شهادة للبنان الذي نريد؟! "هُمُ الرّجال" تحفظ لنا، وبالحدّ الأدنى، مكوّنات الإنسان الحرّ المتعدّد، القائمة على المساواة ضمن إطار مُنفتح على الآخر ومُتغلّب على العقم والجهل والظلم...!.
