كما تناولت الأجزاء الشكل الظاهري والأجهزة الداخلية ووظائفها لكل طائفة وكذلك تم إستعراض الوضع التصنيفي وموقعها في المملكة الحيوانية وأهم مميزاتها التي ساعدت في تصنيفها، كما تم عرضها بالرسومات لتوضيحيه لكل طائفة.
ويعد هذا الكتاب مرجعاً لطلبه الفرقة الثانية لكليات البنات بالدمام في مادة الرخويات والجلدشوكيات ليكون عوناً لهم في دراستهم.
