انطلاقاً من هذا الفهم يبادر مؤلف الكتاب بداية إلى تحليل معاني "فلسفة العلم" والكشف عن دلالتها اللفظية والموضوعية، مروراً بـ (مذاهب القانون العلمي): ومنه، القانون العلمي "الكامن" و"المفروض" و"الوصفي" معرجاً على "الفهم البرجماتي (الأداتي) للقانون العلمي، و"مبدأ الحتمية في التفكير العلمي المعاصر" وموقف العلم من "الثورة البيولوجية والهندسة الوراثية" ومصير الإنسان من كل ذلك...
