يضع هذا الكتاب 15 من أدوات الطب النبوي كالعسل وحبة البركة وأبوال الإبل والتلبينة والسنا والأثمد والحناء والحجامة وغيرها تحت مشرط البحث العلمي... ومن جهة نظر طبية محايدة.
ويتعرض لمفاهيم شائكة في الفكر الإسلامي العملي والتي تم عرضها بطريقة مخالفة للعلم الحديث مثل فوائد ماء زمزم العلاجية وعيادات الرقية الشرعية والختان والحكمة الطبية من تحريم أكل الخنزير والعادة السرية، والحكمة الطبية من وجوب الصيام.. يضع ذلك وغيره تحت مجهر العلم الصارم... فالعقل الذي خاطبنا به الشرع أولى بالإتباع من ظنون الناس في ذلك الشرع... ولا ننسى أنه لولا العقل لما كان هناك لنا شرع.
فاقرأ هذا الكتاب بدون أفكار مسبقة، وحاول أن تنسى أو تتناسى أن كاتبه طبيب باطنية لا يحمل ليسانس شريعة يستطيع أي شخص أن يأخذها في ثلاث سنين ونصف أو ينقصون، ولا تنسى أبداً أن عقلك هو حصانك أن احترمته احترمك الناس أجمعون، وتذكر أنه إنما يخشى الله من عباده العلماء... كل العلماء.
