أـسئلة كثيرة تطرح في هذا المجال، تجيب عنها المؤلفة من خلال كتابها الموسوم "السودان ومحيطه الإقليمي: دراسة في المشكلات السياسية" وذلك عبر ثماني فصول تناولت فيها علاقات السودان مع مصر، وليبيا، وأثيوبيا، وأرتيريا، وتشاد، وأوغندة، وكينيا. وختمت الدراسة بتداعيات انفصال جنوب السودان على دول الجوار، وذلك لما تحمله عملية الإنفصال من تأثيرات سلبية على العديد من تلك الدول وهو ما قامت المؤلفة بتوضيحه وبيانه بالأدلة والوقائع التاريخية من خلال هذه الدراسة.
