إن الحديث عن التربية حديث مهم، تنبع أهميته عن أهمية التربية نفسها، وهو في الوقت نفسه يحتاج إلى بسط وتكرار، حتى تتحول الأساليب التربوية لدى المربين إلى قريب من الملكات، بحيث يكون المربي قادراً على مواجهة المواقف الطارئة، وكأنه قد أعدَّ لها منذ زمن، ورتَّب لها الترتيب المناسب.

يقدم المؤلف هذا الموجز الميسر بعنوان "نحو تربية إسلامية راشدة، من الطفولة حتى البلوغ" إسهاماً في هذا المجال، وتكونت خطة هذه الرسالة من مقدمة، يتم الحديث فيها عن تعريف التربية وأهميتها، ويلي المقدمة فصول ثلاثة: أولها: عن مرحلة الطفولة دون سن التمييز، والثاني: عن مرحلة الطفولة في سن التمييز، والثلاث عن مرحلة البلوغ.
ويتناول كل فصل من هذه الفصول الثلاثة الحديث عن كل مرحلة من خلال: "الخصائص والمميزات للمرحلة"، "العوائق والمشكلات"، "الأساليب والوسائل"، "الثواب والعقاب"، "التوجيهات والنصائح"، وفي نهاية الرسالة أضيفت بعض المراجع التي يمكن أن يستعان بها في التربية.
