هنا سيرة مع القراءة، شكّلت تعويضاً عن حياة معطّلة منذ البدء، فمع الكتب حاولت البحث عن موقع في صحافة مريضة بواقعها السياسي والثقافي والإجتماعي، لقد جرّبت أن أحضر دائماً حيث لا أريد، تدرّعتُ بحجج باحث زائف عن الحقيقة، صوتي كان يتخفّى أحياناً في حناجر الآخرين، كانت صحافة بلا فضاء، وكنت مصارعاً بلا أي أدوات صالحة للصراع.
تخيّلت أن بالإمكان أن يقع قارئٌ محتمل في فحِّ كتاب أقدمه له مسلوقاً على طبق من ورق، كنت مُصاباً بمرض الثَّقل، وفشلت دائماً في إتقان ألعاب الخفّة، طلبت عون شعراء وكتاب وفلاسفة، أحياء وأموات، لأواري ضعفي؛ رؤيتي، أحاول دائماً أن أشكلها بطريقة نحّات، حذِراً أن أقع ثانية في خديعة الإكتمال، كنت أتوهّم أن بالإمكان تحقيق الذات على مصطبة ما في الخارج.
في الإقتصاد، والسياسة، والأدب، في آثار الرحالة، وتضاريس التراث، بحثت عن أوهام الحقائق الضائعة، ومثل كل تائه لم أرض لا بالغنيمة ولا بالإياب!...
