ومن خلال هذا المعجم ثنائي اللغة كردي/عربي، يحاول المؤلف إستعادة إرث الأكراد للتأكيد على شخصيتهم وإستقلالية وجودهم كأفراد لهم ماضٍ عريق يشهد لهم به أعمالهم الأدبية. يقدم المؤلف دراسة حول اللغة الكردية مشتقاة من المراجع الإسلامية، الفارسية منها والعربية وغايته من دراسته هذه، إلى جانب أهدافه الدراسية المنهجية البحتة للغة الكردية، غايته التأكيد على أن المساعي الإنسانية والإجتماعية نحو تطور المعارف الإنسانية يجب أن يكون معروفاً بكفاح يأخذ بعين الإعتبار ربط أبناء الشعب الواحد من خلال تاريخه وتراثه.
