لا غربة أن ينكب المسلمون على العناية بكتب أئمة الأمة الأعلام وقد كان هذا دين محققي الأمة ومجتهديها حتى في عصور الانحطاط والتخلف مما حفظ لنا الكثير من التراث الفكري الثر لأئمة المسلمين. وضمن هذه الجهود القيمة يتدرج كتاب "القول الفصل وشرح الفقه الأكبر للإمام أبي حنيفة" الذي صنفه محي الدين محمد بن بهاء الدين الشهير ببهاء الدين زاده.
وهو عمل موسوعي ضخم عنى مؤلفه بأصول الدين والعقيدة عند الإمام أبي حنيفة كما ضم عرضاً لآراء المتكلمين والأصوليين والفلاسفة والمتصوفة إضافة إلى بعض الشروح الفلكية والطبيعية والطبية. وربما خرج المؤلف أحيناً عن غاية الكتاب الأصلية. إلى جانب هذا حوى الكتاب مسائل وأقوالاً لأبي حنيفة في الصفات والقدرة والكلام والسمع والبصر والإرادة، والجنة والنار والموت والبعوث.
لكن المؤلف كما يذكر المحقق لم يراع ترتيب المواضيع وتبويبها كما وردت بعض الفصول بعنوان وبعضها بغير عنوان ومن هذا يمكن تبين حجم الجهد الذي بذله المحقق في إخراج هذا الكتاب حيث عثر على النسخة الحجرية المطبوعة في تركيا وقد قارنها بصورة المخطوط فوجدها مطابقة، فعمد إلى ضبط آيات القرآن الكريم وتصويبها في الهامش أن وقع فيها خطأ ووضع لكل آية هلالين متوخين وأعاد ضبط الأحاديث النبوية الشريفة وذكر سندها في الحاشية. وترجم للأعلام الذي وردت أسماؤهم في النص. كما ميز كلام أبي حنيفة عن النص بخط تحته، ولم يهمل ضبط النص بفواصل ونقاط أينما وجد ذلك ضرورياً.
