في مجموعته الشعرية "أبيات نسيتها القصائد معي" يكتب مروان مخّول قصيدته لنقرأها وكأننا نطير أو نغني أو نكتب معه ونسمي الموجودات كما نحب في فضاءاتها الفسيحة، هي قصائد أسيرة للبلاغي ولا للقوالب الجاهزة، بل تنطلق بمحاذاة الحياة وعيشها بحب، كمن يكشف عشاً جميلاً في شجرة ويؤثثه، وتبرز هذه النظرة عبر منظومة من الملفوظات الذهنية والتأملية والتشكيلية والتي تتضح أكثر عبر طقوس لغوية صورية شفافة وخاصة عندما يخاطب المحبوبة، قائلاً: " تعالي نحاول عبور المسافة / ما بين قطبين منفصلين بخيل الويزة / أو نَجسُر البعد يا سدرة المنتهى / حيث لا بد للحظ أن يتثنى إلينا / وأن يتجلى". بهذه الروح يكتب مروان مخّول وكأنه يكمل لوحة ناقصة تكمل لوحة حياتنا، ويبقى القارىء هو هدفه ليوقظ اللقطة الجميلة لديه في براعة تامة قادرة على اصطياد الدهشة.
