في تتبعنا لمسيرة مطور "الطورانية" منذ المجتمع العثماني، إلى اليوم، نجد أنها بقيت متأصلة في أعماق البورجوازية الكبيرة في المجتمع التركي... فالينى الإجتماعية لا يمكن أن تكون معلقة في الهواء، إنما هي بالضرورة مرتبطة بالظروف الداخلية التي نشأت فيها، وبالدوافع الداخلية والخارجية التي ساهمت في تبلورها، بغض النظر عن المظاهر الشكلية التي تحاول أن تغلف نفسها بها.
فالطورانية، كحركة عنصرية، قد حملت معها - وما زالت - الويلات والآلام التي وقعت على الشعوب التي خضعت للإحتلال العثماني، وللقوميات التي ما زالت تحت حكم النظام التركي، منذ ثورة "تركيا الفتاة" وحتى النظام الفاشي الحالي.
وفي هذا الكتاب، نحاول أن نلقي الضوء على هذه الحركة العنصرية، نشأتها وتطورها، وإنعكاستها على محيطها الإقليمي، خاصة وأنها أصبحت مرتبطة عضوياً بأهداف السياسة الإمبريالية الأميركية، منذ إنضمام تركيا إلى حلف شمال الأطلسي.
وهكذا نجد أنفسنا، أمام حركة عنصرية قديمة حديثة، شبيهة تماماً بالحركة الصهيونية، انطلقت على قاعدة التعصب القومي للحفاظ على بقائها، لكنها انتهت كتابعة، تقوم بتنفيذ دور محدد في السياسة الإمبريالية على الصعيد الإقليمي.
