(قبيلة الرولة في التاريخ)، هذا هو اسم الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا، وكنت قد سميته: (تاريخ قبيلة الرولة)، فأشار بعض الإخوة بان الكتاب لا يشمل تاريخ الرولة كله، ويرون تغييره إلى اسم يعبّر عن محتواه بشكل أدق، فعكست الإسم، وأصبح: قبيلة الرولة في التاريخ.
هذا الكتاب قد قمت بتقسيمه إلى مقدمة وتمهيد وعشرة فصول، وتحت كل فصل مجموعة مباحث، وهي كالآتي: 1-الفصل الأول: نسب قبيلة الرولة من عنزة، 2-الفصل الثاني: إمارة ابن شعلان، 3-الفصل الثالث: مشايخ قبيلة الرولة، 4-الفصل الرابع: كبار وفرسان وأعيان قبيلة الرولة، 5-الفصل الخامس: قبيلة الرولة في عيون الكتّاب والمؤرخين، 6-الفصل السادس: مدن قبيلة الرولة وقراها وهجرها ومواردها المائية في الماضي والحاضر، 7-الفصل السابع: العادات والتقاليد عند قبيلة عنزة ومنها الرولة، 8-الفصل الثامن: منطقة الجوف، 9-الفصل التاسع: متفرقات رويلية، 10-الفصل العاشر: مقتطفات من ديوان الرولة.
