إن تدريس مادة المصارف الإسلامية في الجامعات في كليتي الاقتصاد والشريعة أمر حديث للغاية، ويطلب الدارسون معرفة كيفية عمل هذه المصارف حديثة النشأة، كما يدرسون واقع المصارف التجارية، ولهذا فقد طلب مني أحد المدرسين في جامعة النجاح الوطنية أن أكتب كتاباً ألقي فيه الضوء على المعاملات وعمليات المصارف الإسلامية، ونظراً للحاجة الماسة في المجتمع لكتاب شمولي يعطي نظرة متكاملة عن المصرف الإسلامي وكيفية عمله.
وقد حاولت من خلال هذه التجربة أن يكون الكتاب على وفق منهج دراسي، ليسد حاجة الدارس المبتدي، وليكون مرجعاً سهلاً للعاملين في المصارف الإسلامية، بل لكل شخص يريد معرفة النشاط المصرفي الإسلامي، ولقد أسميته (الشامل في معاملات وعمليات المصارف الإسلامية) وأقصد بذلك (المصارف التي تلتزم في جميع معاملاتها ونشاطها الاستثماري، وإدارتها لجميع أعمالها بالشريعة الغراء ومقاصدها، وكذلك بأهداف المجتمع الإسلامي داخلياً وخارجيا).
وقد قسمت الكتاب إلى مقدمة وثلاثة أبواب وخاتمة وفهارس، تكلمت في المقدمة عن نشأة المصرف وتعريفه وبواعثه وعرفت الربا تعريفاً موجزاً لما له من علاقة بالمصرف.
وفي الباب الأول عن النشاط المصرفي الاقتصادي الإسلامي في السوق. وفي الباب الثاني تحدثت عن العمليات التابعة للنشاط المصرفي وتحدثت عن العمليات التابعة للنشاط المصرفي: الرقابة الشرعية والمصرفية، إعداد الموازنة التخطيطية في المصرف الإسلامي، دراسة الجدوى في المصارف الإسلامية، توزيع الأرباح في المصارف الإسلامية، علاقة المصرف الإسلامي بالمصرف المركزي، أما الباب الثالث فاحتوى على النشاط المصرفي الإسلامية الاجتماعي والثقافي.
