فالبحث دراسة أسلوبية لغوية، يعتمد على صورة الجملة الطلبية في الدرسين النحوي والبلاغي، وتطبيقها على شعر أبي تمام، للوقوف على أهم الخصائص الأسلوبية للغة الشعر عند أبي تمام في الأصوات والمفردات والتراكيب في ضوء المنهج الأسلوبي الحديث الذي يعتمد الإستقراء والإحصاء والوصف منهجاً للوصول إلى الحقائق الموضوعية في الحكم على الظواهر اللغوية والفنية وتعليلها ما استطاع إلى ذلك.
