صمت جميل يلف الأجواء الصباحية في طوكيو... أثناء تناولنا وجبة الفطور، كانت الأسماك تطوف حول الصخور المنبثقة من أحشاء البركة، والأشجار الشاهقة تنتظر مخاضها الموسمي لتتفتح الورود وليبدأ موسم الـ "cherry blossom".
وليمارس الشعر سحره الراقص في أجواء اليابان، فالشعر موجود في كل مكان، في المعابد، حيث كان الإمبراطور ومستشاروه يكتبون الشعر ويتبادلون الحوارات الشعرية ويعلقونها على بوابات المعابد والحدائق لترتفع الذائقة العامة لليابانيين.
إذا كان الحاكم شاعراً حكم شعبه بكل حب وإنسانية وعدل، لذا نجد القصائد محفورة على الأضرحة والصخور كأنها محفورة على صخور القلب والوجدان.
هناك قصائد ولوحات تعبيرية عن الفصول الأربعة وقصائد عن كل فصل على حدة، بالإضافة إلى القصائد، والرسومات المنقوشة بإحتراف على الملابس التقليدية اليابانية، ولوحات قماشية تسمى "بيوبو" خاصة بــ"cherry blossom" هي للفنان الياباني "توارا يو سوتاتسو".
