·ولد في بلدة قرنايل في لبنان عام 1944م.
·درس الشريعة الإسلامية ونال الشهادة الجامعية فيها عام 1972م.
·حصل على شهادة الماجستير عام 1982م من جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية في الرياض ، ثم حصل على الدكتوراه.
oعمل في مجال التدريس ، فدرّس اللغة الإنجليزية ،ودرَّس اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها و عمل في كلية التربية بجامعة الملك سعود.
