أخرج الكلب المدهش "لولو" من البحيرة قنينة بداخلها ورقة كتب عليها، "إلى من يعثر على رسالتي... إنني مسجون في... وذلك الشيطان يقوم بتعذيبي... وقتلي ببطء... لا أدري إلى متى سأقاوم السجن، إنه يتركني في الظلام الدامس والجوع... ذلك المجرم المتوحش الذي سجنني في ذلك المكان الرهيب المخيف... أنقذوني بسرعة وإلا... " أثارت هذه الجمل المهمة فضول المغامرون الخمسة فقرروا كشف السر الرسالة؟ ومن هو "سبع الليل"؟ ولماذا يقوم بحراسة قلعة الشيطان؟ هذا ما سيعرفه القارئ من خلال قراءته لهذه القصة المثيرة التي تحمل العديد من المغامرات والمفاجآت الشيقة والرهيبة.
أثناء زيارة للفيوم، وبينما كان المغامرون الخمسة يتجولون على ضفاف بحيرة قارون، يقوم الكلب المدهش لولو بإخراج قنينة من الماء. وقد أصبحت هذه القنينة بداية لمغامرة مشوقة في قلعة الشيطان. ما هي هذه القلعة؟ وما هي الأسرار التي يخفيها حارسها "سبع الليل"؟ ومن هو المسجون في القلعة؟ هذا ما سيحاول المغامرون الخمسة معرفته من خلال أحداث مثيرة مفاجآت عديدة يواجهونها في قلعة الشيطان الرهيبة.
