ليس الإعجازيّون، من أمثال زغلول النجّار وأتباعه المجانين، هم وحدهم الذين يعتبرون القرآن خزّان العلوم الفيزيائية والكيميائية والبيولوجية والفلكية، ومكتشف الذرة وبوزون هيجس والمذنبات والثقوب السوداء، بل إن رجلا، مثل يوسف الصدّيق، درَسَ الفلسفة في أرقى الجامعات الأوروبية، وتتلمذ على أشهر الفلاسفة الفرنسيين، يركب معهم نفس القارب. الصدّيق أبقى على هذه المقاربة الجنونية، وأضاف إليها موردا جديدا، وهو الفلسفة، فأصبح القرآن بالنسبة إليه، يحتوي في نفس الوقت على العلوم الحديثة والفلسفة بجميع مدارسها. إن إعجاز القرآن الحقيقي، حسب قناعته، يتمثّل في «استيعابه لآماد طويلة من المعرفة، فيها حمورابي وفيها فيثاغورس، "وأحصيْنا كل شيء عددا"، فكل شيء مبني على العدد». وهكذا فإن عقيدة الإعجاز اللاّفلسفية الشرّيرة التي عَبثتْ بعقول الشبان العرب وشوّهت أرواحهم وأجسادهم عادت من جديد بلُبُوس فلسفية، مُعَلّبة في مَصْنع يوسف الدجّال. وتبقى، على أية حال، مرارة العقلانيين والعلمانيين العرب الذين يبذلون قصارى جهدهم لتقشيع رسوبات الخرافة عن أذهان الناس، وتحييد المقدس والوحي والنبوّة، وإذا بفيلسوف، تربّى في وكر الفلسفة الحديثة، يُسقط مشروعهم في الماء، ويَبعث من جديد كل الخرافات القرآنية، ويزيد الناس جهلا على جهل وظلاما على ظلام.
