نقرأ في هذا الكتاب دعاء "الجوشن الكبير" للإمام علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه والذي يعد من أهم الأدعية الثابتة والمنقولة عن أئمة أهل البيت، لدى الشيعة الإمامية، يشتمل على مائة فصل، وفي كل فصل يدعى بعشرة أسماء من الأسماء الإلهية. وقد ذكره بتمامه الشيخ الكفهي في كتابه البلد الأمين والمصباح ومن طريقه العلامة المجلس في بحار الأنوار. ولأهميته قال عنه الشيخ الكفهي في المصباح: إنه مروي عن الإمام السجَاد عن أبيه عن جده عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.
يقسم الكتاب إلى قسمين: القسم الأول يضم ومضات إيمائية إشراقية لذوي العرفان، تتضمن بعض الحقائق والأسرار عن أهمية أسماء الله الحسنى.
أما القسم الثاني: فتضمن:دعاء"الجوسن الكبير" للإمام علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه وإبتدئه بـ"بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم" : اللهم إني أسألك بأسمائك يا الله، يا رحمن، يا رحيم، يا عليم، يا حليم، يا عظيم، يا حكيم، يا قديم، يا مقيم، يا كريم.... إلى آخر الحديث....
