يسلط الكاتب الضوء في هذا الكتاب على وضع اليهود في ايران منذ قدومهم اليها وحتى الوقت الحاضر ويعرض الواقع الذي يعيشه اليهود في ايران هذا اليوم ويعيش في ايران بين 20 و25 الف يهودي ويعود تاريخ تواجدهم الى اكثر من 2700 عام. وطبقاً للدكتور الايراني فان لليهود ممثلا ً في مجلس الشورى الاسلامي (البرلمان) ويمارس اليهود نشاطاتهم السياسية والاجتماعية عبر ثلاث جهات وهي المرجع الديني لليهود وممثل في مجلس الشورى ومجلس ادارة جمعية يهود طهران.
في الكتاب، دراسة لوضع اليهود قبل وبعد الثورة وخاصة حياتهم المعيشية بعد الثورة هذا واختلفت أوضاع اليهود وبختلاف الدول والنظم الحاكمة. يتمتع اليهود بحرية نسبية بحيث لهم وسائل اعلام خاصة ولهم أماكن عبادتهم المصانة بحكم القانون. ويوجد لليهود الكثير من الاماكن المقدسة والتاريخية كالمقابر المنسوبة الى الانبياء كما لهم مؤسسات تتولى ادارة امورهم الدينية والاجتماعية ولهم خمس مدارس لاشراف وزارة التربية والتعليم.
