هناك كثيرٌ من الكْتُب في علم القيادة وعلم الإدارة من الجانب الأكاديمي وهناك بعض الكتّاب من كتب في هذا الموضوع من وجهة نظر الشريعة (الدين الإسلامي) ولكن القليل من كتب حول المقارنة بينهما وعن وجهة نظر الشريعة السمحاء بهذا العلم على الشكل الإجمالي أو التفصيلي وعن رأي الدين حول النظريات والتطبيقات في علم القيادة والإدارة وخاصة أن أول من علّم الناس العلوم بشكلها العام هم الأنبياء والرسل "صلوات الله عليهم" ومنها القيادة والإدارة.
وسيرة الأنبياء ترشدنا إلى ذلك فإن الرسول الأعظم صلى الله عليه وسلم استطاع بقلة ناصره أن يكوّن دولة بإمكانيات بسيطة ووفقت هذه الدولة الصغيرة في بداية نشأتها بوجه الجزيرة العربية برمتها وأصبحت نموذجاً صالحاً يقتدى به بالعدل والإحسان والإدارة الحكيمة في عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
من هنا، تسهم هذه الدراسة في حلّ بعض الإشكاليات التي تقول: إن الدين الإسلامي ينحصر بحلالٍ وحرامٍ فقط ولا يوجد له رأي في العلوم الحديثة مثل القيادة والإدارة، فبهذه الدراسة يكمن الجواب على هذا الإشكال فإن الدين الإسلامي دين الحياة وبه جميع الحلول للمجتمع وهو الدين الذي ينظم الحياة ومنه تستنبط جميع العلوم.
