لهذا فإن قوات حفظ السلام هي قوات لها مهامها المكلفة بها، والتي تعمل من أجل تحقيقها والواقع يثبت لنا عملها في الميدان.
وقد تم طرح الإشكال الآتي: "من خلال ماذا نحكم على قوات حفظ السلام على أن أثرها على تطبيق القانون الدولي الإنساني أثر إيجابي؟"، "ما هي مهام قوات حفظ السلام؟"، "كيفية تحمل مسؤولية إنتهاك القانون الدولي الإنساني؟"، "ما هي الحالات الميدانية التي قامت بها قوات حفظ السلام الدولية؟".
كل هذا سنتناوله في: المبحث الأول: الأثر من خلال مهامها، المبحث الثاني: الأثر من خلال تحمل مسؤولية إنتهاك القانون الدولي الإنساني، المبحث الثالث: الأثر من خلال الحالات الميدانية لقوات حفظ السلام.
