الأنبياء هم أكمل بني البشر, وخير خلق الله, اصطفاهم الله وجعلهم قدوة لمن أراد النجاة, وقذف في قلوبهم الهداية, وجعلهم نوراً, وآتاهم الحكمة, والعلم. قال تعالى: (إن الله اصطفى آدم ونوحاً وأل ابراهيم وأل عمران على العالمين), وقد ذكر لنا الله عز وجل في القرآن الكريم صوراً من حياة هؤلاء الأنبياء ومواقفهم, وعقب على ذلك بقوله: (أولئك الذين هدى الله فبهداهم اقتده قل لا أسئلكم عليه أجراً إن هو إلا ذكرى للعالمين). وهذا الكتاب محاولة لطيفة, وإطلالة سريعة على بعض ما ذكره الله من أخبار الأنبياء في القرآن الكريم, مع التعليق السريع عليها لاستخراج الحكمة والعبرة. مع موجز بسيط لسيرة خاتم الأنبياء, وإمامهم محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم.
