كركر" مارد صغير، يحبّ أن يلعب الغميضة مع أصدقائه- "ميمي" المخيف و"جمبو" الكبير. ذات يوم، كان "كركر" يحاول الاختباء في كومة من الطحالب جمعها بنفسه، لكنه تعثّر ووقعت الطحالب على الأرض. حاول أن يقف فإذا به يمسك بأنف الأميرة..إعتذر "كركر" وشرع في جمع الطحالب قامت الأميرة الجميلة بمساعدته. شكرها وهمّ بالمغادرة. لكن ذيله الطويل علق بحذاء الأميرة، اعتذر "كركر" مرة أخرى لكن الأميرة أمسكت برأس ذيله وبدأت تستعمله كفرشاة للزينة. مع أن "كركر" أعجب باهتمام الأميرة إلا أنه لا يحب أن يلمس أحد ذيله. تكرر فعل الأميرة الأمر الذي زاد من انزعاج "كركر"، كيف سيتصرف؟
