هذا كتاب لطيف ظريف -كما يتضح للقارئ من اسمه للوهلة الأولى- انتقى فيه المؤلف اثني عشر عنواناً من فضائل الأئمة الإثني عشر والتي خصهم الله سبحانه وتعالى بها ورتبها في اثني عشر باباً، ثم ضمن كل باب اثني عشر حديثاًَ: أما الأبواب حملت العناوين التالية: إن الأئمة بعد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اثنا عشر، في أن الأئمة عليهم السلام هم النور، في أن الأئمة عليهم السلام هم الصراط المستقيم، في أن الأئمة عليهم السلام هم الهداة واحد بعد في كل قرن، في أن الأئمة عليهم السلام هم أولوا العلم، في أن الأئمة عليهم السلام هم أهل الذكر، وهم المسؤولون، وغيرهم السائل، في أن الأئمة عليهم السلام هم المحسودون على ما آتاهم الله من فضله، وفيهم الملك العظيم، في أن الأئمة عليهم السلام هم أولوا الأمر الذين أمر الله -سبحانه- بطاعتهم، في أن الأئمة عليهم السلام عندهم الأمانات وأمروا بأدائها، وهي الأمانة يؤديها كل واحد لمن بعده، وهم أولوا الأرحام، في أن الأئمة عليهم السلام تعرض عليهم أعمال العباد بعد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، في أن الأئمة عليهم السلام فضل الله متبعيهم ومواليهم، في أن الأئمة عليهم السلام قد خسر معاديهم، وتارك سبيلهم، وضلّ ضلالاً مبيناً.
