صوت شعري من (فلسطين 48) بل من (جبل الكرمل) بل من (دالية الكرمل) حيث (هناك الممنوعة علينا) رغن أننا لسنا ضيوف الشغف بل نحن الشغف الذي يتجوهر في كائنات الشاعر فرحات فرحات (إسم مريح لا يتعب) ولكننا نراه في قصائد الظلال. الشعر هو جوهر الشغف حتى عندما نخطو نحو الهاوية أو نرتفع نحو الأبراج السماوية أو نسبح في بحار العشب أو عندما تتصحر روح الشاعر أحياناً (ما علاقتكم بالصحراء وأنت إبن الجبل الأخضر أيها الشاعر). يتابع الشاعر فرحات فرحات مساره الشعري الذي بدأه في مدرسة (حنا ابو حنا) بمهارة متسلقي الجبال عندما ترافقهم في صعودهم الطيور والأطفال والأشجار والبنات بشرائطهن المدرسية قبل أن يغسل رذاذ المطر الوجود الأزلي لكائنات الكرمل العالي. هناك يطلون على بحر أمورو العظيم حيث ظل الجبل منارة السفن التائهة في شعاب التاريخ. لكن التاريخ هنا عند فرحات فرحات هو تاريخ الذات المقموعة القلقة رغم هدوء ما قبل العاصفة. (ضيف شغف) للشاعر فرحات مجموعة شعرية لا تحمل دلالات التعددية والشفافية وخفقان القلب المتناغم مع العقل حيث يرتد الشاعر دائماً نحو داخله ليخلخل وجوده وكينونته المفتوحة على العالم لأن الشعر شغف خصوصاُ عندما تمحي الأسماء والأشياء والشعارات وتتجوهر في كائنات تتمدد من (جبل الكرمل) حتى سماء النيل.
الشعر عند فرحات (عمودي) لأن الشعر عند (المرزوقي) هو (العلوق بالنفس) أي أنه شغف وهو (شعر حر تفعيلي) كما متعة الإيقاع عند بدر شاكر السياب وهو (شعر النثر) كما متعة السرد الشعري عند جبرا ابراهيم جبرا. فالشاعر فرحات يتفاعل مع الأشكال كلها ويطل من الأعالي على قاع الأشياء من حوله (في داخل حوله) مثلما يتجه نحو الداخل العميق الزلزلي حتى في توقيعاته الشعرية. إنه الشغف الذي هو أكبر من العشق وفرحات ضيفه الأبدي. وعلى طريقة السياب نردد (شغف شغف شغف).
